Information Persistence and Propagation in Social Media

This research will track Facebook activity in relation to a set of Greenest City Conversations events such as workshops and performances. Using a set of common measures and tracing mechanisms, the research will search for: temporal patterns of participation; content production and dissemination; persistence and propagation of sustainability learning and ideas; diversity of the network of people using social media to talk about GCC; and use of social media by participants of a face-to-face workshop for follow-up activities.
